Osama's Angel

One needs to be very gullible to believe that the USA, after having ten years to think about it, felt that killing bin Laden, using Special Forces troops , was their best option.

Osama's Angel, tells the more likely story and the reader will come to the conclusion that the SEAL story and the burial at sea are a rather crude misinformation campaign.

The story of Marco Polo's travels on the Silk Road, gave the CIA inspiration for a new interrogation method.

The Old Man of the Mountain used a similar Muslim faith-based technique to get his Hashassins to do his bidding. This same technique was used very successfully while interrogating bin Laden and was how so many of his associates were eliminated shortly after the Abbottabad raid.

The story the Administration wont tell you.

The attention to detail of all things military described by McWilliams is first-rate and it shows that he has jumped from a `few' planes and fired a `couple' of rounds himself.

The story twists and turns at an unrelenting pace and provides many believable `backing' stories which are necessary to build to the crescendo.

This is a great "what if" novel.

The authors style and attention to detail reminds me a lot of Fredrick Forsyth's writing.

This isn't one of those shoot em up action novels. It has more of a real world "Feel" to it.

The author is a former soldier so there were none of usual weapons mistakes.
